Social media couldn’t have been happier for him either.
After a rough (to say the least) start to the season for the Warriors forward, Oubre lit up the court against Dallas. He had 22 points in the first half alone.
"I think this has been coming," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after the win.
It sure has. Prior to that, Oubre had scored 34 points … over his last three games.
Here’s what the keyboard Warriors were saying on Oubre’s stellar night on Twitter:
Entering Tuesday, when Steph Curry and Oubre shared the court with one another, the Warriors were outscored by seven points per 100 possessions. Curry spoke before on how it was difficult to even out the highs and lows for someone like Oubre, who had been facing those throughout the season.
As you can see, Steph was pumped to see the success of Oubre:
And to have Oubre remind people of Game 6 Klay Thompson ... whoo boy:
Heck of a night for the Warrior.
