‘The bigger the game, the better Draymond plays' — a deep dive into the numbers

Draymond Green has been absolutely sensational in the playoffs so far.

Through nine games, he's averaging 12.4 points, 11.2 rebounds, 9.0 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.2 blocks, while shooting 35 percent from deep.

"The bigger the game, the better Draymond plays," Steve Kerr told reporters on Monday. "The more intense he is, the more focus he has. He's going against Anthony Davis night after night and just doing an amazing job -- in concert with his teammates.

"But Draymond is a rare, rare guy. Every time the moment gets bigger, he gets better. And not everybody can say that."

On Tuesday morning, the radio voice of the Warriors, Tim Roye, tweeted:

This resulted in a deep dive into Draymond's game logs.

Here are the numbers for the three-time All-Star in potential series-clinching games:

If you throw out Game 5 in Denver back in 2013, Draymond's averages over 19 potential series-clinching games:

16.3 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists.

Decent stuff for a second-round pick...
