Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo jokes about conversation with Steph Curry

Are you old enough to remember when Steph Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo briefly spoke on the court after last Wednesday's Warriors-Bucks game at Chase Center?

Of course you are.

Remember when the Warriors' superstar told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes the following day that he simply was recruiting the Greek Freak to team up in the online game 'PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds,' and wasn't trying to convince him to join the Warriors?

Of course you do.

Well here's what Giannis told The Athletic's Sam Amick regarding his exchange with the two-time NBA MVP:

“Yeah, yeah, but it wasn’t (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds), it was, uh, it was (NBA) 2k,” he says with a laugh about their conversation before flashing a pair of air-quote hand gestures for good measure. “Nah, I’m joking.”

Whether or not Giannis ever ends up with Golden State, the basketball world will laugh about and poke fun at Curry's explanation for years to come.

As Mallory Edens -- the daughter of Bucks owner Wes Edens -- told TMZ Sports on Sunday: "I don't think Giannis plays video games."

And it's not like we have ever heard about Curry being a big gamer.

“Steph is a -- he’s a fun dude,” Giannis told Amick. “I really don’t know him, know him -- but whenever we’ve (played each other) he’s always come up to me, talked to me.

"It’s fun.”
