CLEVELAND –- Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love was cleared by NBA concussion protocol and will be available to play against the Warriors Friday night in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

The Cavaliers made the announcement one hour before tipoff, without stating whether Love would start or come off the bench.

Love sustained a concussion after being hit in the head by Warriors forward Harrison Barnes last Sunday in Game 2 at Oracle Arena.

He did not play Wednesday in Game 3 on Wednesday, as veteran Richard Jefferson was inserted into the starting lineup and Cleveland rolled to a 120-90 victory to trim to 2-1 the Warriors deficit in the best-of-seven series.

Love started the first two games at power forward and averaged 11 points and 8 rebounds. He played only 21 minutes in Game 2 before leaving with the head injury.
