Chauncey Billups: If Warriors are healthy, ‘they're the best team in the world'

For six straight seasons from 2003 to 2008, Chauncey Billups' Pistons teams reached the Eastern Conference Finals.

Detroit won the championship in 2004 and Billups was named Finals MVP.

In 2005, the Pistons lost Game 7 of the Finals to the Spurs.

In 2009, Billups reached the Western Conference Finals with the Nuggets.

"I can tell you from experience -- when you're the champion and you've been to the Finals a couple times -- the regular season is boring," Billups said on KNBR 680 on Thursday night. "Hate to say it, but it just is. You're looking for that real challenge."

Additionally, the current ESPN analyst took inventory of the Warriors.

"Obviously, they're limping right now. The Splash Brothers are hurt and banged up. That's going to be the key for them.

"If they're healthy, they're the best team in the world."

OK then.
