Check out the Puma shoes DeMarcus Cousins will wear in Warriors debut

Just before the 2018-19 season started, DeMarcus Cousins left his shoe deal with Nike for a "lucrative multi-year" contract with Puma.

But because the Warriors center has yet to play this season, he hasn't had a chance to wear his new kicks in game action.

That's set to change on Friday when Cousins is expected to make his long-anticipated Warriors debut against the Clippers in Los Angeles.

Want to know what Boogie's shoes will look like when he debuts? ESPN's Nick DePaula has you covered.

The Warriors will play two more games before Cousins joins the lineup. Tuesday night, they are in Denver to take on the Nuggets in a clash of the top two teams in the Western Conference.

Cousins' former team, the Pelicans, come to Oakland on Wednesday to take on the champs.

Steph Curry's latest Curry 6 colorway that's inspired by Oracle Arena

Steph Curry's latest Curry 6 colorway that's inspired by Oracle Arena

Steph Curry and the Warriors didn't send Oracle Arena out the way they had hoped, as they lost all three NBA Finals games in the building to the Toronto Raptors.

But Oracle still holds a huge place in Curry's heart.

That's why the latest colorway of his Curry 6 shoe is a tribute to the arena he called home for the first 10 years of his NBA career.

If you haven't blocked Game 6 of the NBA Finals from your memory, you may have noticed Curry wearing those shoes in the final game ever at Oracle.

The "Roaracle" colorway consists of green, red and orange, the colors of a decibel meter. The insole in the left shoe features the word "Roar," while the right insole has "This is our house" written on it.

These Curry 6s will be released on Friday, June 21 for a retail price of $130.

Warriors assistant Chris DeMarco to coach Bahamas men's national team

Talk about a sweet gig.

Warriors assistant coach Chris DeMarco has been a consistent presence on Golden State's sideline over the last several years, over the course of which he's gotten plenty of championship experience.

Starting this summer, DeMarco will be taking that experience to the tropics. The Undefeated's Marc Spears reported Monday that DeMarcos has agreed in principle to become the head coach of the Bahamas Basketball Federations' senior men's national team.

DeMarco began with the Warriors as a video scout, and has ascended up the coaching ranks to his current position. He has previously served as an assistant coach for the Bahamas, and will now take over the reins when he doesn't have Golden State commitments.

While the Bahamas failed to qualify for the upcoming 2019 World Cup in China, there is no shortage of NBA talent originating from the islands, including Sacramento's Buddy Hield and Phoenix' DeAndre Ayton.

"There is a lot of potential for growth. It's crazy the talent they have with only 400,000 (people)," DeMarco told The Undefeated. "It's a tremendous opportunity."

Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson has Bahamian family ties through his father, Mychal, but neither he nor Rockets guard Eric Gordon are eligible to participate with the Bahamian national team due to their prior experience with USA Basketball. Still, the elder Thompson believes the DeMarco hire is a good one.

"It's great for the Bahamas getting a coach with championship experience at the highest level of basketball," Thompson told The Undefeated. "He will bring a winning mentality and a great organizer."

DeMarco will be needed back in the Bay Area when the Warriors open up Chase Center at the start of next season. But until then, he can gain further coaching experience, and get a tan while he's at it.
