It didn't take Monday night's performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers for the basketball world to learn that Steph Curry and Draymond Green have incredible chemistry on the court.
But it did serve as a reminder.
And there was one play in particular from late in the second quarter that caused quite the stir on social media.
In fact, even Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum offered a reaction.
McCollum is all too familiar with the synergy between Steph and Draymond, who eliminated his squad from the playoffs in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
Speaking of that, here is a reminder of what those two averaged during the 2019 Western Conference finals:
Curry: 36.5 points, 7.3 assists, 8.3 rebounds, 47 percent overall, 42.6 percent on 3s (15.3 attempts)
Draymond: 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 11.8 rebounds, 2.8 blocks, 2.3 steals, 54.2 percent overall
Pretty insane, right?
As for the present -- nine of Curry's 13 buckets Monday were assisted by Draymond. And this was my favorite one:
And let the record show that Curry also helps Draymond score from time to time.
It's just too much fun watching these two compete on a nightly basis.
Don't ever take the three-time NBA champions for granted.
