Lee draws WrestleMania-esque flagrant in Warriors-Nuggets

Denver Nuggets power forward JaMychal Green must've had WrestleMania 37 on his mind Monday night.

How else could you explain his third-quarter flagrant foul on Golden State guard Damion Lee underneath the Warriors' basket?

The officials refereeing Monday's game at Chase Center were a little less lenient than the WWE's in Tampa, Fla. this weekend, issuing Green a flagrant 1 for his trouble. Lee stepped to the line and made both free throws.

Sydel Curry-Lee, Lee's wife, didn't appreciate Green's tryout for "Monday Night Raw."

Even after his exchange with Green, Lee played peacemaker later in the third quarter.

Juan Toscano-Anderson hung on the rim a little too long for Monte Morris' liking after a breakaway dunk. Lee tried to break the two up, spoke with officials and attempted to calm down Toscano-Anderson after the heated conversation.

Talk about chippiness at Chase Center. Maybe the April 23 rematch -- with fans in the stands -- will include steel cages.
