For a few moments Saturday night, it looked like the Warriors suffered another serious injury.

Luckily for Golden State, point guard D'Angelo Russell only sustained a right shoulder contusion after a scary collision with Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic and returned to the game in the fourth quarter of the Warriors' 141-121 loss.

With under six minutes left in the third quarter, Russell went for a loose ball and collided with Doncic's leg. He stayed down on the floor while play continued to the other end of the court.

Play stopped and a stretcher was brought out for Russell, who was face down on the floor. Trainers checked on the Warriors star for several minutes while players from both teams gathered around him.

After a few minutes, Russell was able to walk to the locker room on his own power.

Before leaving with the injury, Russell had 32 points, 30 of which came in a scorching first half. Upon his return in the fourth quarter, Russell only scored three points. He was subbed out midway through the period with Dallas in firm control of the game.
