Daryl Morey's pockets will be a little lighter this week, as he and the Philadelphia 76ers each have been fined $75,000 for violating the NBA's anti-tampering rules regarding a tweet about Warriors star Steph Curry, the league announced Monday.
Morey posted the below tweet on June 3 with a screenshot of an Instagram post from Curry shouting out his brother, Seth, who plays for Philadelphia.

The president of basketball operations for the 76ers attempted to walk it back in a reply to the tweet, but it appears the damage already had been done.

Morey long has been a rival of the Warriors, as he spent more than a decade in the Houston Rockets' front office. He's tweeted about the Warriors before, as he famously sent a congratulatory note to the Warriors after every playoff series win Golden State had over Houston.
