GP2 believes defense beats offense in hypothetical Dubs 3-on-3

There is nothing like a little friendly competition. Even if it is purely hypothetical.

When Warriors reserve guard Gary Payton II joined the latest episode of "Dubs Talk," a fun, speculative question was posed: Who would win in a 3-on-3 matchup between the team's defensive stalwarts of himself, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala, against the top scorers on the squad in Steph Curry, Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole?

Without even batting an eye, Payton made the call.

"Me, Draymond and Iggy. No question," Payton answered.

There was no hesitation in his answer. It was direct and to the point.

"That's easy, defense gets it done for sure," Payton said.

As of Thanksgiving, the trio of Curry, Wiggins and Poole in reality has combined to score an average of nearly 66 points per game. In contrast, the squad consisting of GP2, Green and Iguodala has combined to average 18 points per contest. One might think that such a dramatic difference in offensive firepower could make Payton rethink his initial response.

Or not.

"It's not about us on offense, we got to make sure we stop them. If they can't score it, we will figure it out," Payton declared.

GP2 gave his answer, but what do you think, Dub Nation?
