Jazz's Mitchell remains out for game vs. Warriors on Sunday

Both the Warriors and Utah Jazz will be without vital players Sunday when they face each other at Chase Center.

While Draymond Green still is out for the Warriors, Donovan Mitchell will miss his third straight game for the Jazz because he remains in the NBA's concussion protocol.

Mitchell sustained the injury during Utah's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night. Russell Westbrook appeared to make contact with Mitchell's head just before halftime.

Mitchell is one of the most dynamic players in the NBA and leads the Jazz in scoring at 25.5 points per game.

While the Jazz already have ruled Mitchell out, star center Rudy Gobert is listed as questionable with left ankle soreness and wing Bojan Bogdanovic is probable with a left finger strain.

On the latest NBA injury report updated at 5:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, Warriors forward Andre Iguodala is listed as out due to left hip injury management.

Green is out due to calf soreness related to a disc issue in his lower back and is scheduled to be re-evaluated next weekend.

While the Warriors (33-13) and Jazz (30-16) both hold top-four spots in the Western Conference standings, each team enters Sunday's matchup having lost six of their last 10 games.
