Draymond '99 percent sure' Durant doesn't sign with Warriors if…

The Warriors won the title in 2015.

They had three chances to close out the Cavs in 2016, but didn't get it done.

If they captured back-to-back titles, would Kevin Durant be wearing a Warriors uniform right now?

"If we win the championship, I'm like 99 percent sure we don't get him," Draymond told ESPN's Zach Lowe. "There are silver linings to everything."

Two days after taking the 3-1 lead last season, Draymond Green was suspended for hitting LeBron James in the groin area.

"That play? I don't regret it," he told ESPN. "Like, I just don't. Some would say maybe I'm wrong for not regretting it. I don't live my life with regrets. I move on. It was never like, 'Oh man, I cost these guys a championship.' 

"Now, do I believe in my heart that I did cost us? Yeah, I do. Absolutely. But I still don't regret that play."

In Game 7, Draymond registered 32 points, 15 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals.

No more than a couple hours after the final horn, Draymond made two phone calls from his car in the Oracle Arena parking lot:

Call No. 1 -- Bob Myers. "It's on you" to sign Durant, Draymond told the Warriors' general manager.
