After the first 36 minutes of Game 1 of the 2022 NBA Finals, the Warriors were in a great position, up 12 heading into the fourth quarter.
But the Boston Celtics didn't lay down, as they blitzed the Warriors with a 9-0 run to open the final quarter and went on a 17-0 run later in the period that spanned more than five minutes, en route to a stunning turnaround that resulted in Golden State losing the series-opener 120-105 at Chase Center on Thursday night.
For most teams without the championship pedigree, a loss like this one would shake their confidence and rattle them to their core. But the Warriors are battled tested. They know how to deal with adversity and adjust.

Draymond Green, who finished with four points, 11 rebounds and five assists in 38 minutes of action, isn't overly concerned by what happened in Game 1.
"I think they stayed within striking distance and they made shots late," Green told reporters after the loss. "So we'll be fine. We'll figure out ways we can stop them from getting those threes and take them away. But no, I don't think it was a rhythm thing. We pretty much dominated the game for the first 41-42 minutes so, we'll be fine."
The Celtics made 21-of-41 3-pointers in the game, including nine in the 40-point fourth quarter.
While the Warriors were able to limit Jayson Tatum to 3-of-17 shooting and 12 points, Marcus Smart, Derrick White and Al Horford combined to hit 15-of-23 shots from 3-point range.

"15-of-23 from those guys?" Green said. "Eh, we'll be fine."

Green and the Warriors have two full days to analyze the tape, make adjustments and hope they work in Game 2 on Sunday night.
If the Warriors aren't "fine," they'll be heading to Boston in a two-games-to-none hole that might be impossible to dig out of.
