You aren't going to completely stop LeBron James.
But you have to make things tough on him and try to make him uncomfortable at times.
According to Draymond Green, the Warriors can't be predictable on defense.

"Just mixing it up. You can't give him a steady diet of anything," the reigning Defensive Player of the Year told reporters. "Even if something works, you can't do that every play. Eventually he figures that out and he's able to pick that apart, or find a way to maneuver around whatever it is.
"Just kind of switching things up, never giving him the same look throughout the course of the game, throughout the course of a quarter. And sometimes even switching it up possession by possession."
The Warriors did not do a good job against LeBron in Game 1.

He scored 51 points and got five "open" shots and six "wide open" shots.
The Warriors did a much better job in Game 2, when LeBron scored 29 points and only got three "open" shots and one "wide open" look.
And as Draymond said, you have to have multiple guys take a turn defending him.

"A different player, guarding the pick-and-roll a different way, guarding the post-up a different way -- just doing different things."
