Jamal Murray is playing out of his mind right now.
On Sunday, the Denver Nuggets point guard dropped 50 points in a win over the Utah Jazz in Game 6 of their first-round NBA playoff series at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.
The performance by Murray helped the Nuggets force a winner-take-all Game 7 with the Jazz on Tuesday night.
Murray's last three scoring outputs against the Jazz: 50 points, 42 points and 50 points. That's so mind-blowing that even Warriors star Draymond Green took notice on Twitter.
Other notable current and former NBA players reacted shortly after the Nuggets beat the Jazz 119-107.
The past week has been an emotional one for the NBA community. Teams boycotted playoff games on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in order to bring awareness to the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old Black man in Kenosha, Wis. last Sunday.
Murray followed his performance on the court with an emotional postgame interview, where it was clear the fight against racial and social injustices was on his mind.
Murray isn't ready to go home, and he will have a chance to extend his stay in Orlando on Tuesday. Green and the rest of the NBA world definitely will be watching to see if Murray can drop another 50-piece.
