Draymond Green was almost posterized by Ja Morant on Friday night.
But Green held his ground and the Warriors eventually got the 116-103 victory. Following the win, Warriors big man Kevon Looney said Morant is going to need a little more effort to throw it down on Green, who was whistled for a foul on the play.

“Ja’s an exciting player,” Looney said in his postgame video conference. “He’s a small guard who tries to dunk on everybody. I’m not surprised that he tried to dunk on Draymond, but Draymond's probably the best defensive player in the NBA. You’re gonna have to keep trying.”
Knowing Morant, who also made headlines for almost throwing down an epic dunk on Kevin Love his rookie year, the explosive guard will probably “keep trying.”
Morant won’t have to wait long for another chance to face Draymond and the Dubs. The Warriors and Grizzlies are set to play in another contest on Saturday night in Memphis to wrap up a back-to-back.

Golden State Warriors
Golden State held Morant to 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting in Friday night’s victory, though. Looney said Kelly Oubre Jr. deserved credit for setting the tone on Morant and making him work.
“We were disciplined in holding him and executing the game plan,” Looney said. “He’s a great transition player and great in a half court drawing fouls. We stayed down and didn’t reach and he made tough shots. He’s an exciting player, he’s going to make great plays. But we just wanted to keep him out of the paint as much as possible.”
Morant might have got into the paint on this monster dunk attempt, but he couldn’t throw it down. Will he come with more juice on Saturday?
