Draymond praises Wiseman's performance vs. Jazz in two areas

James Wiseman stepped up Sunday afternoon against Rudy Gobert and the Utah Jazz.

The rookie center recorded 16 points (8-for-11 from the field) and four rebounds in 23 minutes.

Yet a quick glance at the box score doesn't tell the whole picture.

Actually watching how Wiseman produced and made his presence felt is why his performance was so encouraging.

"He made some great catches in traffic and finishes," Draymond Green told the media after the Warriors' win.

The 7-foot lefty has had some issues securing passes this year, but that certainly wasn't the case vs. Utah.

On the other end of the floor, Wiseman certainly wasn't perfect. But he definitely held his own and didn't get taken advantage of repeatedly.

"He had some great switches," Draymond said. "That wasn't the easiest game plan to follow. He followed the game plan to a T."

And watch this clip below to the very end:

"He battled with one of the top centers in the league," Draymond added. "We need him to continue to grow. But definitely satisfied with what he brought to the table tonight."
