Draymond reveals favorite Steph performance this season

Share

Steph Curry racked up 41 points (14-for-26 from the field, 8-for-18 on 3s) and eight assists in the Warriors' win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.

It was another brilliant performance in a season filled with incredible displays of shotmaking from the two-time NBA MVP.

Out of all of Steph's amazing games this year, does Draymond Green have a favorite?

"Uhhhhhhhh, ohhhh man. S--t, that's a lot of moments," Draymond told the media Monday evening. "I don't know man. That's tough. Although we didn't win, I thought he was incredible that Boston [Celtics] game.

"I think my favorite probably would be the Philly game because he had just said publicly the guy [he] struggles with the most guarding [him] is Seth [Curry]. That's a different type of thing mentally facing your younger brother. He's on the better team at the moment, and you got all of these things going.

"And to top it all off, Steph starts the game incredibly bad -- turnover after turnover, miss after miss. And then to get it going -- that had to be my favorite moment."

Over the first six minutes of the Warriors' win over the Philadelphia 76ers on April 19, Curry turned the ball over three times and missed two 3-point attempts.

But the three-time NBA champion caught fire and closed the first quarter with a bang.

The only unanimous MVP in NBA history saved his best for last, as he scored 20 points over the final 6:07 to finish with 49 points.

And then he provided an amazing quote during his postgame media session.

So yeah -- good pick Draymond.
