Two factors that motivate Draymond throughout NBA career

Draymond Green has accomplished just about everything in his NBA career, from winning multiple championships, making four All-Star appearances and winning a Defensive Player of the Year award.

But the 32-year-old has more goals in sight.

Green told NBC Sports Bay Area’s Kelenna Azubuike on the “A Decade in the Bay” series that two of his remaining goals are to make the Hall of Fame and continue to play well for his children.

Green certainly has a resume that is worthy of Hall of Fame consideration, with three championships, four All-Star selections and four All-Defensive First Team appearances.

“I think I have a legitimate chance if I continue to build my resume, and obviously that means winning,” Green said.

He added that his kids are now at the age where they can understand basketball.

“Since my kids are at the age of understanding what’s going on in the game, I haven't been as good,” Green said. “I want to show them what I'm actually capable of. They are a ton of motivation.”

Green also said his fiance, Hazel Renee, keeps pushing him to be better.

“Hazel never lets up off me,” Green said. “She’s always, ‘You need to do more. You can do more, what was that, what was this.’”
