Draymond trolls Gobert again for crying over 2019 All-Star snub

Draymond Green was on live national television Thursday when he found out he was selected to his fourth NBA All-Star Game.

It would have been awkward if the Warriors' forward hadn't been named to the All-Star team as the TNT crew was revealing the names.

If Green, who has missed the last month with a disc issue in his lower back, hadn't been named to the All-Star team, he knows there's one way he definitely would not have reacted.

"One thing I can assure you of, if I didn't make it this year, I wasn't going to cry," Green said when asked by Kenny Smith to name the player who has taken an All-Star snub the hardest. "I 100 percent assure of you that. It has to be [Utah Jazz center] Rudy [Gobert]. The man cried on national television when he didn't make the All-Star team. Thank God he's made the next three."

"Stop it Dray," Charles Barkley said. "Leave the man alone."

"I mean, you can't cry, Chuck," Green responded. "I said it then, I'm going to say it now. I got killed on Twitter then. I'll probably get killed today, but you can't cry. Come on."

During the 2018-19 NBA season, Gobert didn't make the All-Star team, and when he met with reporters shortly after the announcement, he got emotional.

Green wasn't a fan of Gobert's reaction, and neither was Warriors teammate Andre Iguodala.

The good news for Gobert is that he made the All-Star Game in 2019-20, 2020-21 and he was named to his third straight team Thursday.

The two All-Stars won't be on the court together in Cleveland as Green said during the TNT broadcast that he won't be able to play due to his injury.
