The last thing Warriors fans want to see is Draymond Green sustain any sort of injury while playing for Team USA, and both parties might have dodged a bullet Sunday night in Las Vegas.
During Team USA's 83-76 exhibition win over Spain in preparation for next week's Tokyo Olympics, Green went up for a driving layup, took hard contact and appeared to tweak his right elbow.
Green drew the foul and was in a lot of discomfort as he shot two free throws. He missed the first free throw badly and spent time rubbing his right elbow before the second shot.

The apparent injury occurred late in the third quarter of the exhibition game, and Green would sub out at the next dead ball. He returned to the game midway through the fourth quarter.
It didn't appear as though Green needed medical attention from the Team USA training staff and before checking back into the game, he was standing up on the sideline, cheering on his teammates.
Green started the last tune-up game, finishing with six points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in just over 25 minutes of action.

The three-time NBA champion shot 2-of-7 from the field, including a 3-pointer to beat the shot clock shortly before tweaking his elbow.
Team USA is set to leave for Tokyo this week and will begin group play at the Olympics next Sunday.
While Green initially was in a lot of pain, it appears he avoided any sort of injury that might have forced him to miss the Olympics.
