Draymond's incredulous reaction to reported new CBA terms

Reported details of the NBA's new Collective Bargaining Agreement would heavily impact the Warriors' spending, and Draymond Green isn't happy.

The Golden State veteran tweeted his displeasure over the tentative agreement Saturday morning, which the NBA confirmed Friday night but has yet to reveal its details. In particular, Green reacted to details from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, who, citing sources, reported the Warriors might not have access to the Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception in future seasons under the new CBA's terms.

Under a second luxury tax apron -- $17.5 million above the luxury tax line, per Wojnarowski -- the Warriors wouldn't have been able to sign Donte DiVincenzo last summer. In Green's eyes, the reported new terms hurt NBA players more than they help.

The new tax apron impacts the Warriors and could affect Green's future in the Bay. Should the 33-year-old opt into his $27.6 million contract option for the 2023-24 NBA season, with new extensions for Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins set to kick in, Golden State certainly wouldn't be able to benefit from the Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception in free agency and would have to fill out the roster with veteran minimum contracts.

The Warriors could part ways with Green or other high-priced vets already on the roster, leaving the front office with plenty of difficult decisions.

Green also took exception to the new CBA's reported in-season tournament prize money.

And the forward isn't done sharing his opinion, he said.

Never one to keep quiet, Dub Nation can expect to hear more from Green -- and, likely, the Warriors -- about the changes in the coming days.
