After missing 11 games with a sprained toe, Draymond Green will return to the Warriors lineup on Monday when they host the Timberwolves.

Head coach Steve Kerr made the announcement at practice on Sunday. Green won't have a minutes restriction.

"Just excited to be back on the floor," Green said after practice on Sunday.  "Looking forward to the game. It's been a while since I really played basketball, so I'm excited."

The addition of Green back into the Warriors' rotation will be a welcome sight as the team has missed his defense and playmaking ability on offense.

The Warriors went 6-5 without Green since he last played on Nov. 15 against the Rockets. During that time, the Warriors lost starting center Damian Jones to a torn left pectoral muscle. Kevon Looney and Jordan Bell have been asked to shoulder the load while Green recovered from his toe injury.

The Warriors have won three in a row and appear to be building momentum. Adding Green back to the fold will certainly help.

In 13 games this season, Green is averaging 6.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and a team-leading 7.2 assists.
