Draymond's spot-on zinger for Crowder's groin kick to Doncic

Draymond Green is the reigning NBA champ for lightning-rod calls, of course getting ejected in Game 1 for a controversial Flagrant 2 foul on Grizzlies big man Brandon Clarke.

NBA Twitter exploded. Stephen A. Smith called it “utterly ridiculous.” Clarke trolled him a bit postgame saying he wasn’t “shocked.”

A night later, Phoenix Suns forward Jae Crowder lunged his leg forward and kicked Luka Doncic directly in the groin.

Somehow, this borderline dirty play from Crowder was deemed only a Flagrant 1, meaning he could stay in the game. Both the Suns and Warriors prevailed to take 1-0 series leads. Green of course had to interject with the perfect observation.

Don’t forget that Green and Crowder have gotten into it with each other, most recently at the end of the Warriors' last game against the Suns when Green wanted to get in Crowder’s head.

Green reacted with tweets throughout the night, but it was the timely one-liner that showed his media genius. He always deftly controls his narrative, and that’s why he’s always playing chess with the pundits, his peers, and social trolls’ checkers.
