When it comes to historic shooting tandems from 3-point range, there's Steph Curry and Klay Thompson and then there's everybody else.
The NBA world was reminded of that as Duncan Robinson and Jae Crowder of the Miami Heat have been red hot from long distance during the playoffs. Robinson and Crowder became the fourth pair of teammates to each make 50 3-pointers in a single postseason, according to ESPN Stats and Info. They joined Curry and Thompson, Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry, and Kyrie Irving and JR Smith.
But that doesn't tell the whole story. The Splash Brothers have completed the feat a ridiculous four times.

Curry and Thompson did so together in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 playoffs, as well as 2017-18 and 2018-19. Curry made at least 50 3-pointers in five straight playoffs before this season, while Thompson fell nine short in 2016-17. Steph also has led the NBA in playoff 3s three different times.

Golden State's sharpshooting backcourt doesn't just heave up shots behind the arc, they're also extremely accurate. Curry has made 40.1 percent of his 3-point attempts in the playoffs, and Thompson has been even better by making them at a 41.5 percent clip.

Robinson and Crowder have been great for the Heat, who trail the Los Angeles Lakers three-games-to-one in the NBA Finals, but they have a long ways to go to catch Curry and Thompson. As does everybody else.
