After a brief scare, it appears all is well for Warriors forward Eric Paschall.
Paschall entered the NBA's health and safety protocols due to COVID-19 precautions before Tuesday's 104-95 loss to the Indiana Pacers, but rejoined the team at practice Wednesday. Paschall revealed to Bay Area reporters he had received a false-positive test result.
He quarantined for 24 hours before being cleared by a separate test, adding he was pretty confident his initial result was a false positive, but understood the need to make sure.

"Obviously it was disappointing that I couldn't play yesterday, but I'm happy I can get back on the flight tonight," he said.
Paschall, 24, will have the green light to travel with Golden State on their upcoming road trip. The Warriors will visit the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers over the next five days, after their Friday game against the Phoenix Suns was postponed due to COVID-19 contact tracing with Phoenix.
Paschall's return to the team will bring a big boost to the Warriors' bench. He has shined since taking over as small-ball center, seeing substantial time in Golden State's second-unit and averaging 12.1 points per game.
Paschall's false positive comes as quite the relief, for obvious reasons. The NBA has seen a large uptick in positive COVID-19 cases around the league, with concerns continuing to swirl regarding the heightened safety measures.
However, his false positive and the subsequent missed game is something Paschall noted as being "part of our job."

"Not everything is perfect," he said. "There's going to be positive tests, especially with the contract tracing. ... We just have to continue doing our job like everyone else."

Teammate Damion Lee echoed that as well.
"This virus is nothing to play with, whether it's a false-positive or an actual positive," Lee said Wednesday. "It'll be great having EP back out there tomorrow."
The Warriors are set to take on the Nuggets (5-6) on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. PT.
