We learned back in December that Eric Paschall was going to tweak the mechanics on his 3-point shot.
“I know I’m going to have to end up changing it,” he told The Athletic's Anthony Slater. “We’ll adjust during the summer.”
The coronavirus pandemic changed the timeline on everything, but the Warriors forward is moving ahead with changes to his form.

So where do things stand with that process?
“He’s working hard on the 3-point shot with (player development coach) Theo Robertson," Steve Kerr said Wednesday on "The TK Show" podcast with The Athletic's Tim Kawakami. "Theo is doing a great job with him.
"Eric is really putting in the work. The shot looked much more consistent to me. Better arc, better release, he looks like he’s getting more comfortable with it.
"The proof has to be in the pudding -- it’s gotta show up during games. That’s a much bigger step because there’s defense and game pressure and all that."

So how does the shot look different?
"Less sort of jack-knife motion like you saw last year," Kerr said. "(It's) more smooth, more shooting the ball on the way up. The result is a softer shot. He's really worked hard on the follow through and the release itself. It's coming around.
"But again, it's totally different once you're in a game."
Paschall -- who was named First-Team All-Rookie -- shot 28.7 percent from deep as a rookie in 60 games. But he did go 6-for-17 (35.3 percent) over Golden State's final six contests.

If he is able to make at least 33 percent of his attempts next season, and other facets of his game continue to improve, the soon-to-be 24-year-old is going to be a major contributor.
"He's one of the crucial young pieces that we have going forward," Kerr said. "We're still relatively thin in terms of proven depth, so we really need Eric to emerge as a consistent wing for us -- kind of a 3/4 player who can guard multiple spots, and provide the type of offense and power that he gave us this past year.
"We're hopeful that he's gonna become one of our key guys next season."
