On Feb. 6, the Warriors traded Omari Spellman to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The T-Wolves have had five games since, yet the big man hasn't suited up for any of them.
Why not? Because for some reason, he's been assigned to the Iowa Wolves in the G League.
Oddly enough, Spellman played in Santa Cruz against the Sea Dubs on Feb. 12, recording 15 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 28 minutes off the bench.

He started against the Salt Lake City Stars a week later, registering 20 points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal.
And on Sunday against the South Bay Lakers, Spellman dominated to the tune of 32 points (11-for-20 overall, 6-for-11 3s), nine rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks.

The 22-year-old simply is too good for the G League, and he should be with Minnesota 100 percent of the time.
It's safe to assume something happened behind the scenes that hasn't been brought to light yet. We will update you should that information become available.
