Warriors

As the saying goes: Offense sells tickets, but defense wins championships.

Such has been the case with the Warriors over the past five seasons.

While the pure shooting of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant receives all the attention, the Warriors' defense really has been the key to them winning three of the last four titles.

There was no greater reminder of that then in Thursday's Game 2 of the Western Conference finals against the Portland Trail Blazers. After erasing a 17-point deficit, the Dubs held a three-point lead with under 10 seconds to play. Blazers star Damian Lillard went to create space against Andre Iguodala, but the veteran forward stripped away the ball, and the Dubs escaped with a win.

Iguodala's strip was just the latest in a long line of defensive plays that have defined the Dubs' dynastic run.
