BOX SCORE

OAKLAND –- With a 127-107 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night, the Warriors completed a one-year span without losing at Oracle Arena.

Guard Klay Thompson carried his teammates much of the way, scoring a season-high 45 points as the Warriors raised their home record this season to 22-0 and extended their overall win streak at home to 40 games.

Only one team in NBA history, the 1994-95/1995-96 Bulls have a longer win streak with 44 in a row.

Three other Warriors scored in double figures, as Stephen Curry totaled 14 points, Harrison Barnes tossed in 13 and Draymond Green finished with 10.

The Warriors (42-4) avenged the most lopsided of their four losses this season, a 114-91 thumping on Dec. 30 at Dallas.

The Warriors have not lost at home since Jan. 27, 2015, when they took a 113-111 defeat, in overtime, to Chicago.

The Warriors posted 33 assists, becoming the first team since the 1994-95 Orlando Magic to be credited with 30 or more assists in five consecutive games.

Rookie forward Kevon Looney made his NBA debut, playing six minutes and totaling 2 points and two rebounds.

Chandler Parsons led Dallas (26-22) with 23 points. Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki did not play, as coach Rick Carlisle opted to rest the 37-year-old forward after playing Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

STANDOUT PERFORMER

Thompson gets the honor because he alone was percolating when everybody else was snoozing through the first half. He scored 26 of the team’s 56 first-half points.

Thompson’s line: 45 points (14-of-20 shooting, 7-of-12 from 3-point distance), five rebounds and two blocked shots.

TURNING POINT

After a Deron Williams layup pulled the Mavericks within four, 76-72, with 4:43 left in the third quarter, the Warriors closed the quarter on a 19-5 blitzkrieg to take a 95-77 lead.

The Warriors held Dallas to 20-percent shooting (2 of 10), while forcing a pair of turnovers during that stretch. Green scored 7 points during the run as the Warriors scorched the Mavs’ transition defense.

The Mavs got no closer than 12 in the fourth quarter.
