J. Cole joins Steph on IG Live after Warriors' loss to Grizz

Steph Curry didn't go off quietly into the night after the Warriors' 117-112 season-ending loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.

After dropping a game-high 39 points on Memphis, Curry's mind was racing, filled with thoughts on what was a wild season. Curry hopped on Instagram Live for his whole ride home, wearing what appeared to be a white James Wiseman Warriors jersey. He gave major love to Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, and was joined by a handful of guests.

The final guest was quite the special appearance.

Superstar rapper J. Cole, Curry's good friend who also is from North Carolina, jumped on Curry's IG Live.

While his latest album, The Off-Season, recently dropped, J. Cole also is played basketball professionally in the Basketball Africa League for Patriots BBC. The team just finished shootaround when J. Cole connected with Curry.

"What I would do to have practice tomorrow," Curry joked.

"Yo, congrats on an amazing season, bro," J. Cole responded. "Oh my god ... sheesh. Incredible to watch. It's incredible to watch, bro. For real."

After Curry thanked him and said how much he learned this season, J. Cole had a great request for Steph.

"If you could, though, now that you're done with the season, if you could send me some powers across the waters to Rwanda," J. Cole joked.

"Word up, you just gotta get your legs underneath you," Curry said. "That's all. It's just a different vibe. Every day. It's an everyday thing."

"No doubt, bro," J. Cole said. "It's different, man. I respect y'all so much. It's crazy."

J. Cole even had Steph say goodbye to his teammates, which brought loud cheers on the bus from his teammates.

In two games played, J. Cole has scored three points in nearly 33 minutes. He also has two assists, four rebounds and one block.

His shot isn't exactly Steph-like yet, missing all three of his attempts from deep so far.
