JaVale McGee proud of Warriors' Jordan Bell wearing a fanny pack

JaVale McGee's departure to the Los Angeles Lakers this summer left an important void on the Warriors' roster. Golden State wasn't hard-pressed to replace McGee's 10 minutes a game off the bench, but they did need someone to wear a fanny pack in his absence.

Second-year pro Jordan Bell stepped up ahead of the Warriors' 117-101 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.

When McGee left, Bell was but the learner. Now, he is the (fanny pack) master. McGee conceded as much on Twitter.

You know, passing on good habits and being a mentor is what professional sports are really all about.
