JaVale remembers first time Steph hit no-look 3-pointer

Steph Curry has made a habit of shooting no-look 3-pointers throughout his career.

At one point Curry and LeBron James even seemed to be going tit for tat. Then there was his 180 degree turn at the All-Star game before the ball splashed in the net.

During the latest episode of “Dubs Talk,” Curry shared his most memorable story of a no-look 3-pointer, which was also his first. Curry said JaVale McGee, who was playing for the opposing Denver Nuggets at the time, didn’t appreciate the call.

McGee heard the story and shared his reaction via Twitter on Thursday.

McGee eventually joined the Warriors and became a beloved member of the Dubs’ dynasty, winning NBA championships in 2017 and 2018 with the squad.

But it’s funny to revisit this video and see McGee jawing at Curry while the two competed in the first round of the 2013 NBA playoffs.
