Jordan Bell gives the inside scoop on his parade antics: ‘I ain't going to lie, I was faking it'

We all know that Jordan Bell had himself quite the time at the championship parade nearly three weeks ago.

He was a man of the people, as he spent a good amount of time running through the streets as opposed to taking it easy on the bus.

The rookie ran out of Hennessey, so he spotted a fan with a bottle and sprinted off the bus to consume some more.

Or did he?

Bell sat down with Anthony Slater of The Athletic for a wide-ranging conversation, and revealed the following:

"You would’ve thought I would’ve been way drunker, but I was chilling … I ain’t going to lie, I was faking it. I was faking it," Bell said. "When I was drinking out of someone’s bottle, I wasn’t drinking out of nobody’s bottle. That’s nasty as hell.

"I was drinking on the bus. But when I was in the crowd, I would just put it like this (fakes thumb over mouth of bottle) and it was just for the fans. But, yeah, I got my fun in. Now back to work."

That work starts Monday night in Sacramento, when the Warriors face the Heat at 6pm.
