Poole rocks his Michigan jersey after Warriors' loss to Magic

While the alma maters of Steph Curry and Draymond Green have been knocked out of the NCAA Tournament, Jordan Poole's school still is dancing with a Sweet 16 game awaiting on Thursday.

Proud of his school, Poole rocked his No. 2 Michigan jersey while entering Amway Center in Orlando on Tuesday, and after the Warriors' deflating 94-90 loss to the Magic, the third-year pro wore his college uniform again.

As Michigan continues their improbable March Madness run, the Warriors have fallen on hard times with Steph Curry out due to a foot injury. Golden State has lost three in a row, but Poole has been one of the few bright spots during the skid. On Tuesday, he scored a game-high 26 points on 9-of-23 shooting from the field and 5-of-13 from 3-point range.

Michigan, the No. 11 seed in the South Region, will take on Villanova, the No. 2 seed, later this week in San Antonio, Texas. The winner will face the winner of the Arizona-Houston game in the Elite Eight on Saturday.

Poole authored one of the most memorable moments in the history of Michigan's basketball program when he nailed a buzzer-beater to lift the Wolverines past Houston in the second round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

If there are a pair of upsets Thursday at AT&T Center, Michigan and Houston would meet again, three years later, with a trip to the Final Four on the line. If that happens, Poole might not take off his jersey all week.
