When Juan Toscano-Anderson flipped over the scorer's table in an incredible hustle play against the Boston Celtics on Saturday, you couldn't help but hold your breath. It was equally nerve-wracking as it was a depiction of the energy he brings to the Warriors.
The good news is, while Toscano-Anderson will miss his second consecutive game against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night, he seems to be progressing well in the NBA's concussion protocols.
"I talked to Juan, he's feeling fine," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said in his pregame press conference Wednesday. "It's a great sign. He hasn't had symptoms, but he'll continue to go through the protocols."

In addition to tracking any concussion symptoms, the Warriors medical staff is also monitoring the stitches Toscano-Anderson got in his head the night of the fall.
After his tumble, members of both teams' staff ran over to Toscano-Anderson with tons of towels, a clear sign that there was a laceration, and it was a big one.
Kerr estimates that he got upward of 35 stitches.
"I don't know if it's official, but that was what I heard," Kerr said. "It's an approximate guess. It's a big, big gash. That's a lot of stitches.

"The stitches themselves also have to heal. I don't know for how long, but he's got a lot of stitches on his head. So, we'll see how long it takes for him to come back."

In addition to missing Toscano-Anderson, the Warriors will be without Damion Lee, who was downgraded from questionable to out with left-toe soreness after Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid stepped on Lee's foot, cracking his big toenail.
Kerr says holding Lee out of Wednesday's game is to prevent the cracked toenail from becoming a bigger issue and keeping him sidelined in other games.
This leaves the Warriors' bench extremely thin, with just Kelly Oubre Jr. and Jordan Poole as the recent rotation players available off the bench.
