JTA has great response to Steph wearing his jersey in practice

Juan Toscano-Anderson, like many 27-year-olds, is Extremely Online.

How else could you describe the Warriors forward after he merged two memes when he captioned a tweet of Steph Curry shooting in Toscano-Anderson's practice jersey at Golden State's facility?

Toscano-Anderson simultaneously referred back to multiple outlets labeling him "Steph's teammate" when he had a hysterically premature celebration for a Curry 3-pointer last month, while also including a nod to YouTuber FlightReacts' famous line about the two-time NBA MVP.

If you're reading this, there's a good chance you understood all of that context. Now, imagine explaining all of that to someone who doesn't have a Twitter account.

Toscano-Anderson remains an elite poster, even as his playing time has gone down over the last two weeks following the return of centers Kevon Looney and James Wiseman from injury. The East Oakland native is on a two-way contract that only allows him to be active for 50 regular-season games, but he remains a favorite of coach Steve Kerr and could be counted upon again as soon as Thursday.

Kerr told reporters Tuesday the Warriors aren't expected to arrive in Phoenix until 4 a.m. MT Thursday, about 15 hours before tipoff against the Suns. Golden State likely will need Toscano-Anderson that night or the previous one in Portland against the Trail Blazers, and he'll be ready to contribute.

He is much more than Steph's teammate, after all.
