Justinian Jessup, who plays for the Illawarra Hawks in Australia's National Basketball League, led all scorers with 24 points against the Cairns Taipans in his latest game. The lefty made four 3-pointers and added four rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks in a 93-81 win.

Jessup now is averaging 13.9 points per game and is shooting 36.2 percent from long distance.
The Warriors selected the Boise State product with the No. 51 overall pick in last year's draft. But he already had signed a professional contract in Australia, and the plan always was for him to develop this season in the NBL.

Jessup regularly watches Warriors games in Australia, and the Warriors have kept a close watch on him. Thriving for the Hawks, Jessup has impressed Australian native and former Warriors center Andrew Bogut, who believes the sharpshooter will carve out a role for Golden State.
