Kelly Oubre Jr. shouldn't miss too much time for the Warriors with a sprained left wrist, but Steve Kerr said Saturday that doesn't mean the 25-year-old will be ready to return to Golden State's lineup Monday.
Oubre didn't play in Saturday's 125-109 win over the Houston Rockets, and Kerr told reporters in a postgame video conference that Oubre is "day to day."
"I just talked to him just now, and he said he's doing pretty well," Kerr said. "Day to day. It's nothing too serious, but he's not necessarily ready to play Monday. I think it's literally day to day, so we'll see."

Oubre sustained a sprained left wrist just before the All-Star break last month, missing the Warriors' final two games. Prior to Saturday, Oubre played in all 15 of the Warriors' games following the break, averaging 14.9 points per game on just 44.6 percent shooting from the field and 30.9 percent on 3-pointers.

The Warriors could be down two starters Monday against the red-hot Denver Nuggets, who are riding an eight-game winning streak. James Wiseman didn't return Saturday after sustaining a right knee injury in the second quarter.
Kent Bazemore started in Oubre's place Saturday, while Kevon Looney figures to start Monday if Wiseman can't play. The Warriors' potential starting lineup of Steph Curry, Bazemore, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Looney is Golden State's best five-man unit (minimum 50 minutes played) by net rating (plus-17.9) this season.
