Oubre ejected vs. Warriors after odd referee interaction

Former Warrior and current Charlotte Hornets forward Kelly Oubre made a driving layup on a fastbreak early in the fourth quarter of the game between the two teams at Spectrum Center on Sunday night, and felt he was fouled on the play.

After Oubre made the layup, he tried to indicate to the referee that he was pushed, but appeared to get a little too close to a ref and earned a quick technical foul. After sending some verbal criticism that referee's way, Oubre got a second technical and was subsequently ejected from the game.

It seemed to be an oddly quick ejection, as players usually have a bit more leeway with discussions involving referees.

Oubre finished with 10 points and four rebounds before being tossed. While the 25-year-old wing is having a solid first season in Charlotte, his two games against the Warriors this year haven't been memorable.

On Nov. 3, Oubre was held scoreless in 13 minutes off the bench in the Warriors' win over the Hornets at Chase Center.
