A classic cross up of Draymond Green from Houston Rockets center Christian Wood provided lots of laughs Wednesday, including from Green himself.
Unfortunately for Green, social media and video replay exists, and it provided an opportunity for Kendrick Perkins to poke fun at the three-time NBA All-Star even more.
Perkins, a former NBA Finals champion and current NBA analyst, broke down the play on ESPN's The Jump, and couldn't resist taking a shot at Green and his multi-million dollar shoe deal with Converse.
"Draymond has switched over to Converse, and sometimes Converse makes slippery shoes," Perkins said. "I don't think Christian Wood actually broke his ankles, Draymond just slipped."
Nasty move by Wood, or wardrobe malfunction? You be the judge.
Either way, Wood's crossover clearly is something that will take a while for Green to outlive. It's safe to say he'll never blame his shoes, though.
