KD is bolting the Bay.
Durant confirmed Sunday on the Instagram page for his ESPN show, "The Board Room," that he'll sign a max contract with the Brooklyn Nets and not return to the Warriors next season. He even used a NSFW track from legendary Brooklyn rapper The Notorious B.I.G. to make the announcement.

Durant revealed his free-agency decision about an hour after ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news that the Nets will have a super team that also includes Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan, who will sign free-agent contracts with the team.
The two-time NBA Finals MVP reportedly also was interested in the Knicks and Clippers, but he ultimately decided to join the Nets over the Warriors' five-year, $221 million max offer.
Durant reportedly told Warriors general manager Bob Myers of his decision, then other teams were informed.
Wojnarowski originally reported that Durant would sign a four-year, $164 million deal, and Irving would receive a four-year, $141 million contract. Later, Wojnarowski dropped the shocking news that Durant and Irving actually took less money than that to help Jordan, who will sign a four-year, $40 million contract.
Durant won't make an immediate impact for the Nets, as he's expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season while recovering from right Achilles surgery. He suffered the injury during Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals.
However, Durant's departure leaves Warriors general manager Bob Myers and his staff to fill out the roster around a healthy Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala.
