Kevin Durant was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, and turned himself into an all-time great player.
And the two-time NBA Finals MVP believes James Wiseman -- the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft -- has the chance to have a very successful NBA career.
"Amazing talent. Definitely deserved his draft position. Sky is the limit for him," KD told NBC Sports Bay Area's Kerith Burke on Dubs Talk. "How fast he can get up and down the floor.
"From the outside looking in, he looks like a sponge -- so he's willing to learn. When you're around champions every day, you're just gonna soak up that knowledge.
"You walk around and you see the banners, you see what comes from winning -- the new arena. I think he's gonna soak it in and become a great player."
Steve Kerr, Steph Curry, Draymond Green and everybody within the Warriors organization can't stop raving about Wiseman's ability and work ethic.
In NBA.com's annual general manager survey, the league's top executives believe the 19-year-old is the rookie who will be the best player five years from now.
Wiseman is a 7-footer with incredible mobility, and will be special if he reaches his potential.
"He's a talent that is hard to come by," KD added. "I'm looking forward to playing against James and also following his career."
