Kevin Durant expected to miss entire 2019-20 season, Nets GM says

Do not plan on watching former Warriors superstar Kevin Durant play in an NBA game this season.

Nets general manager Sean Marks spoke to the media Tuesday and made it clear that Brooklyn isn't expecting KD to suit up until 2020-21.

Durant's status made headlines over the weekend when Brian Lewis of The New York Post tweeted that there's "growing sentiment" that KD could return this season.

The two-time NBA Finals MVP tore his right Achilles during Game 5 of the NBA Finals on June 10, and he underwent surgery two days later.

The last thing the 10-time All-Star is going to do is rush back. And he also isn't looking back:

The Warriors play in Brooklyn on Feb. 5 and host the Nets on March 12.

KD will turn 31 years old on Sunday.
