As a member of the Warriors in 2018, Kevin Durant wore a hard hat while he took a tour of Chase Center when it was still under construction. You could say he helped build the arena with his back-to-back Finals MVPs in 2017 and 2018 alongside Steph Curry and Draymond Green.

On Saturday in San Francisco, Durant shared some laughs with his former Dubs teammates before the Warriors and Nets tipped off for a nationally-televised marquee matchup. It marked Durant’s first game back in the Bay since he left following his Achilles injury in the 2019 Finals.

As Durant was on his back for his pregame stretch, Curry thought it was the perfect opportunity to talk.

Right before tip-off, Durant and Green also dapped it up and shared a moment.

The two former teammates kept the conversation going throughout the game.

The Warriors’ championship window might be closing, but no one can take away their magical run with Durant that included three straight NBA Finals trips and two NBA titles. After Curry and Durant lost their respective seasons in 2019-20 to injury, Saturday’s reunion was worth the wait.

One day, the three figure to have statues alongside one another in front of Chase Center.
