The expected has been confirmed.

With Kevin Durant still rehabbing his right calf strain, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr announced Monday that the two-time NBA Finals MVP would not play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. It is not yet known whether Durant will travel with the team to Canada.

Kerr also announced that center DeMarcus Cousins is questionable for Game 1.

Durant injured his right calf in the third quarter of Game 5 of the Warriors' second-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets.

Cousins tore his quadriceps muscle during the opening minutes of Game 2 of the Dubs' first-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers.
