But when the building opens up for the start of the 2019-20 season, will Durant be calling it his home arena? Outside the actual basketball games and the whole concept of, you know, finding out who wins the championship in June, that is the biggest question mark looming over the NBA.
For the next seven months (and it's been going on for several months already), fans, media members and everybody else who follows the league closely will search for any clues into Durant's mindset. And on Friday, he provided the masses with the ability to speculate even more:
