Klay Thompson is a man of many nicknames. Sure, he's a Splash Brother, but he also has many other aliases.
There's China Klay, Game 6 Klay, Headband Klay and many more. It might be time to add a new one, too.
Thompson kept it in the family Tuesday night and rocked a Trayce Thompson road Chicago White Sox jersey at Chase Center during the Warriors' 122-121 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Can "Baseball Klay" really become a thing?
The injured Warriors star has shown his baseball love before, as he posted a picture to Instagram of his young playing days on Opening Day this year, and even threw out the ceremonial first pitch of the A's-Giants game on July 31, 2017.
We know baseball runs strong in the Thompson family, too. His brother, Trayce, currently is an outfielder in the Arizona Diamondbacks' organization. He last played in the majors when he appeared in 51 games between the A's and White Sox in 2018.
Trayce was a second-round pick out of Santa Margarita Catholic High School in 2009. He has 202 games in the big leagues and has a .206 career batting average with 22 home runs.
Baseball Klay certainly could make another appearance this season, but we know Big Smokey always will be the Splash Brother's best nickname.
