Klay can't wait to ‘make it rain' at Madison Square Garden

Klay Thompson has a bad case of FOMO.

The Warriors’ beloved Splash Brother has expressed his frustration at times on the sideline this season, watching helplessly as his team goes through thrilling wins and heartbreaking losses.

When Golden State takes on the New York Knicks on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden, Thompson will be wistful once again. He shared a photo Monday on Instagram with the following caption:

“I love the Garden . The history of the greatest sports woman/men & entertainers who have performed here is incredible . Kobe’s 61 is the first thing that comes to my mind . Can’t wait to get back here and make it rain ☔️ ??”

Dub Nation clearly misses Klay, who hasn’t played since the 2019 NBA Finals. Klay clearly misses the game right back.

Thompson’s best performance at the Garden came back on Jan. 31, 2016, when he dropped 34 points in 32 minutes, going 14-of-18 from the field and 5-of-6 from beyond the arc in a 21-point victory.

For now, Thompson will just have to soak up the bright lights of basketball’s biggest stage from the sidelines.
